facepalm :)

Haha loving the facepalm. Anyway I put him in a Hosp Tank and I'm adding salt fairly often, one thing I've noticed is that he can't swim straight and knocks into everything. The other thing is unless I turn off the filter so the food stays still then he can't get a single piece of food. The other thing I wanted to ask is to the rest of the JD's I got from the same guy. There are 4 of them all between 1.5-2" (they actually school with 3 of em. Never seen this before with Jack's) anyways I'm feeding them Hikari Gold Baby(floating type) but they won't eat any of it until 2 days later it sinks if I don't scoop it out. Is there anyway I can make them eat it or get it to sink when I put it in?

I've had several single-eye fish live decent lives....

Just keep an eye on him.

lolol

Gotta love marineland's tech support. I too have called them many times and they have been so helpful (luckily, it was not because I was not plugging it in incorrectly, lol)

As for the missing eye fish, do not worry. I as well have had many one eyed fish. There is one at work I am debating about buying a one eyed gold severum haha

Yeah. But does anyone have any ideas on how to get the pellets to sink?!

Crap. The reason I'm asking is because I live about 80 minutes away from my LFS so I was trying to figure out if there was a way to do it without the drive.

There might be a way. That would be what I would do. I can't get NLS around my area, so I just get it online and get it mailed to me.

Can you put them in a water for a period of time before hand? Maybe taht will work.

True. I was wondering for like an instant method haha. Like maybe the fish gods would throw out a new idea. Just like they did when they created the fx5!
