Petsmart always ask me for tank size and warns me of potential size and aggression. Other LFS dont really care.

Now I'm off to a different pet shop to purchase a bigger tank for the comets and fantail, plus a water testing kit. I guess in some pet shops it's all about the money and not the animals. Having said that, it's my fault for not researching properly before buying. Looks like an expensive lesson learned, however I reckon it's my responsibility to look after the little fellows accordingly....might even manage to teach the kids a lesson in the process.
