Hey Guys, I just saw this on AquaScapeOnline and was just wondering what you think of it? My personal opinion is "Cool, when Can I have it shipped"?

-Has anyone here every kept them before?

I saw on the Discovery Channel way back that they can get up to 5 or 6 feet?!? :eek: I was thinking of putting this guy in my 400g.

For that price and buying from Padro, I can't go wrong. Telling by those pictures though, they look like they can be real monsters!! I'm guessing that they are a cold water fish though...

They are true monsters, you will need to mod your setup as they are coldwater. It is worth it! How many people do you know keep 'em? Anyone can get a Cichlid or an Aro... Get the scientific name and get reading! :)

they're coldwater fish and I haven't heard of many sucess stories in raising up babies in a tropical tank.

that particular species doesn't get as big, but still get at least 3ft I believe.
