Sturgeon in a Florida pond?

I had sturgeon years ago in the uk. Unfortunately they died one warm summer even with good filtration and an air pump. There might be ways to do it but ours is a deep pond as well.

Sorry for your loss. I don't think I want to try it. No point in putting a animals life at risk.

sturgeon need lots of oxygen, in the uk they need ponds 5 or 6ft deep

How about a hybrid striped bass, some pacu,peacock bass,a redtail or two, a arowana and few gar, plus whatever exotics you can find locally

Gourami Swami suggested a pretty cool idea of taking in fish that people have in to small of tanks. I may do that. Probably start out with some fish I like and build on that.
