Hello. I have a cold water aquarium of about 1600 l and I would also like to keep sturgeons here. The problem is that the temperature is not lower than 22C, in summer up to 24C. I would like to ask which species would be suitable for this aquarium? I don't care about the size, if the sturgeon grew, I would move it to my 12ha pond.
Species which is possible to buy here for cheap price:
Beluga
Sterlet
Russian sturgeon
Siberian sturgeon
Starry sturgeon
Harder to obtain but also possible:
White sturgeon
Atlantic sturgeon
Bastard sturgeon
Beluga hybrids.
My favorite is now beluga, which I would move to the pond when it grows up.
Which kind of these sturgeon is possible to keep in aquarium?

Welcome to the MFK! I know little about sturgeon. We have had two beluga for 4 years and 3 white sturgeon for half a year+. Their water is at 82F at the highest. They don't like corners in any size enclosure but can learn to manage. We see all kinds of sturgeon kept in growout tanks.

I am of the opinion that shovelnose sturgeon are the best species for aquariums, they do well in relatively warm water and do not get to be giants.
