i just bought 2 3" sturgeon, and idk what type,my LFS say there black sturgeons and are there any sturgeons known as black sturgeons?its gray/brown/dark colored sorry no pictures

If you can't photo them yourself google sturgeon and look for a site that has a description of the worlds sturgeon and you should be able to find your sturgeon, without a photo of the top and side of the sturgeon it is hard to id.

Probably sterlet, but impossible to tell without a picture if its dark, if its more of a tan color could be a white.

oh ok thanks man

np they are $14.95 right? dude nxt time u go to 405 can u tell me if they still have the 40 dollar florida gar and what kinds of bichirs they have. thanks.

you do know you probably do not have the ability to house them for life right? These things get HUGE!

Sterlets don't get huge anzfab213, they max out around a meter under ideal conditions maybe a bit more. We all need to understand there lots of different species of sturgeon, not all are huge, the most suitable for aquariums are sterlets and shovelnose. There are sturgeon that max out at 12" but they are endangered.

they just get 3' plus they grow slow so yea i did my research aznfab

yea they get like 4-5 ft long idk if your goin to be able to house it for life man.
