Hope this won't discourage you from future posts. This occurs in other parts of this forum too. A member would inquire on compatibility, feeding, or something about a certain fish (Goliath tigerfish, arapaima, giant carp etc) and the almost immediate response is unless you have >1,000+ gallon tank, don't get it or something to that effect.

some people need to let other be just cause you can't house a fish doesn't mean someone else can't its people being jealous get your fish i hook you up with the website

Snakeheads have been released by aquarists all over North America, not just that famous Crofton Pond that everyone knows about. You gave a wrong advice that is highly frowned upon in our hobby. Look at goldfish, koi carps and common pleco that caused lot of problems in the ecosystems that they are not native to. We have some issues with the deadly VHS disease that is killing the natives. This specific VHS came from an aquarium fish that got released by someone that got bored of fish.

Pretty sure sturgeons need running water over the eggs to hatch. And eggs washing out wont be an issue cause water isn't moving. And the beluga I only asked about cause I saw a lot of them in koi ponds in Europe on YouTube. Might just have to build a big koi pond with no outlets for now to raise them. Until I can build my indoor olymic swimming pool lol. But the diamonds stay smaller than the whites. Does anyone know the growth rates on them. I know in the past when I had sterlets, they doubled in size and I noticed no growth from a white in the same period. ( lost them all in a move) :(

Again, your best shot is just stick to the native fishes that is native to your area. But that's great idea on building an artificial pond with no outlet and 100% isolated and you can stock any fish whatever you wants.

As for the eggs, well I can see the sturgeons trying to swim upstream even if its too shallow for them. Don't forget the pathogens the sturgeon comes with, might be harmful to the natives that do not have any immunity to.
