Does anyone know if some species of sturgeons can be kept in tanks with tropical fish?
The temperature would be about 77-80°F

What species would be the best for a warm tank?

No. Sturgeon are not suitable for aquariums, and certainly not for tropical aquariums.
If someone tells you otherwise, do NOT believe them!

I've heard of people who have kept sturgeons in aquariums with no problems at all. Wanted opinions on the matter, thanks for the reply.

I had a few years ago had to have a chiller on the tank kept it in the 50's. They will not last long in tropical temperatures.

with no problems, huh? I doubt that very much. a sturgeon should live 40-150 years. how many people have you known that have had their sturgeons that long?

Hi, I'm from Indonesia, i have 5 sterlet sturgeons, i've kept them since April 2012, now they already 25 centimeters. My tank tempreature is about 29-31 celcius degree, so far i don't have any problem with the tempreature.
