Styrofoam for rimless

Its very thin, maybe 1/8" and came in a roll. Don't know the name, its whatever hd had in the flooring department

So it's more of a cloth material than a styrofoam board type material?

Its like the Styrofoam that is used to wrap electronics and other sensitive stuff inside of their packaging. This probably isn't the exact product but is the same style.

I used 1/2" foam board from Lowes. Its construction grade and a much denser foam and doesnt compress easily. Dont remember the name but its white with a foil back. Styro is water resistent so it wont absorb water. Thats why it is used for floatation.

Ok I think I saw this material last time at Home Depot. It is like wall insulation for houses? Has foil on one side and the rest is a styrofoam material?

Not sure what its intended purpose, but its right by the blue styroboard (at Lowes) Seams to do excellent with my 600.

I think this is what you are talking about? It's 1/2" thick and 8x4. Has styrofoam and foil on 1 side says its insulation sheathing?

That's what I use. I use 1/2" as tank builder suggested it "crushed better" than something thicker.

Do you guys remove the foil? Or is it on top or bottom when you place it
