i happened to do work at pond supply place and they had a massive display pond setup that was dont just as i suggested (i feel so smart)..
i guess theres a company that supplies a kit to do this called "pebble tec" (pebbletec.com)
but the general term for it is "exposed aggregate".... and its basicly concrete with pebbles set into it...
i think it looks friggin amazing and i was told that there is "an amazing amout of money to be made by digging a hole and making it look pretty"... which is just effin funny so i figured id share..
