i even use it under my glass tanks that i put on unconsistent "stands" like dressers, pallet racks etc... that typically are not completely flat. it works great and is a super cheap insurance.

Pharaoh;3759085; said:Is a non-flat dresser or pallet rack a small inconsistency? I just worry that some may be putting a band-aid on a real problem. I think it would be better to use a truly flat surface.
dmopar74;3759206; said:of course it would be better to use a perfectly flat suface, but im personally not going to worry about a small 1/8" bump here or there when foam will absorb that, after all isnt that what the foam is for?
ohh so youve tried it?! its good to hear your experiences with it rather than jumping on the hear say bandwagon.Egon;3759282; said:Yeah I agree. I can't imagine the foam compresses much at all? Especially that stuff at Home Depot.
