At 270gph for their biggest unit, it would be useless in my application. Like having a fish pass gass. Wouldn't even notice it. Thanks for trying though.

You don't get it! It creates a current that moves the water much more than a nozzle blowing on fish poop! Parts are available too! They are Italian made and not cheap Chinese junk you can't get parts for.

I'm kind of leary to try that brand now. I was thinking that forthat price, I might as well buy an other FX5 and use that to do what I want. That flow is more like what I'm looking for and I could effectively divide that tank in half with two.

I have had very bad experience with anything Zoomed. And as for Italian made, so are Fiats. So What?!? You don't seem to get it 270gph is nothing. An Ac110 moves more water then that and those little impellers are tiny. I know I have two of them running on a 50gal planted. You are suggesting the equivalent of a hand held Nerf fan and I need something more in the neighborhood of a Louisiana fan boat. An exaggeration to be sure, but now maybe you understand me better.
