Anyone want to recommend a really nice 1000+ gph pump? Price ranging from $100-$150. And let me in on your personal experiences with them and why I should get that one.

pick up to mag 7's or 2 mag 9's, pump redunandacy will protect against pump failures, plus mag's are affordable, durable and reliable. If you need to get one pump get an eheim, their quality is very good but the price range is a high for relatively low flow pumps (highest gph eheim 1262= 800 gph)

Good advice there. I like the Eheims the best, but a two pump system is always better (even when the brand is slightly inferior).

Nope, all mine cost more, but you do get what you pay for.

I've had good luck with these and they don't add heat to the tank, I also have has good luck with little giant pumps.
