Substrate advice?

hello,
I am getting a substrate for my 40 gallon breeder tank for my turtle. I am terrible with guessing what colours will look okay together so I thought there must be some people on here that know what they are doing.

The background is blue (painted) and the gravel I like so far is brown.

Will this look terrible or do you think it will be alright?

IMO it's what you like not us it's your money not ours we can give suggestions all day but in the end it's your decision pick what you like, it's you that will see it majority of the time : ) Gl

I even use paint and try to match the colours. I think it will look okay.

No- Tom you are a moron and should not be allowed to pick colours for gravel.

I think it'll look fine. Blue and brown are a classic color combination.

If you want cheap gravel, buy some pea gravel from Walmart or Lowe's. That's what I use to cover the dirt in my planted tanks.

I haven't bought any in a long time, but I'd venture to remember it being 3.49 for a bag. I threw the bag away, so don't know how many pounds it is.

i agree who cares what others think as long as you like it and its your money anyways just go with what u think looks best just my 2 cents lol
