I am looking to stock my 65 gallon and I am looking to house a jardini, RTC or Gulper, Buttikoferi, and possibly a TSN.

Gotcha FSM. I was so blinded / tunnel-visioned on "sand vs. gravel" that I didn't even take note of his intended stock. I was able to see, later, what you were upset about. Sorry.

Sand is the way to go!

Alright so my stock list is going to be small now, just my buttikoferi who is 6-7" and possibly a gulper if i can get one small enough so I wont be risking my Butti. A couple oscars would overwhelm this tank yes? If i cant find a gulper then im going to get a veil tiger oscar. Any locals to the SF area know where I can pick up some sand? I have only been living here for a couple months and dont know where to start my search, because I know fish stores charge a arm and leg for that cichlid sand.
