I kind of wish I had the option on what background/substrate to use. I originally wanted to use a darker colored substrate and paint the background black. But oh well. The blue-ish background actually looks pretty cool because of the texture.

CaribSea is definitely worth the money if you can't find anything else. It's the only substrate we use in our tanks!

I agree with the CaribSea. I have that on my 55 gallon tank. It would be a little too pricey though for a 150 gallon especially since I wanted at least a 2 inch substrate. But I guess that problem was taken out of my hands lol. The tank I bought came with a painted background with matching substrate so I just stuck with it.
