Can anyone tell me where to get about 225lbs of gravel at a good price?Anyone ever use homedepot/lowes rocks for substrate?Thanks in advance

yeah, i go to home depot and use the gravel they sell. It's like 3.99 for either 20 or 40 lbs. Big difference but i forgot which size. It's a good deal.

Any particular brand , do you just rinse the hell out of it?

no, nothing in particular, i used a mix of gravel and sand. Just picked out a color i liked. Poked holes in the bad and rinsed it out that way. I think it looks nice in the tank, a mix between gravel and sand.

Home Improvment Store are the best places for decor. You just got to rinse well. That's where I get my pots, rocks, and accessories.

rinse it well bro, or better soak it overnight in water then rinse

I just bought 200 lbs of pea gravel from Home Depot for less than 14 dollars.
It was the dirtiest gravel Ive ever seen but for that price you cant really complain.
