If you really want to use that sand, then you would probobly just want to wash it and decontaminate it but like everone else said, it isn't worth it if cleaning it doesnt work

boil the sand to kill any unwanted bacteria/parasites and it should do fine

yeah, its just not worth the risk. i will buy live sand instead.

ive dun it with my tank but i rinsed cleaned it like for 2 weeks then let it dry up after drying for 3 days i added boiling water and washed for another 2 weeks..

honestly i dnt find it worth all thw work since my fish have whitened up instead of having a natural colour =[
