hey guys im gona be setng up a 125 planted i have the lighting and co2 system what is a great substrate??? my goal cheap but good!

post in the Planted Tank section for the best feedback . . . I have used eco-complete, flourite and turface, all with good results
last I heard on that sub-forum was that ADA aquasoil is the best way to go; I think it is similar to turface . . . here is the link I was given:

If cheap is your goal,then get play sand or pea gravel from a home improvement,and use root tabs for the plants. Nothing wrong with inert substrate.
