Do i need substrate for a planted 75g or can i just use beach sand type stuff.... just wondering because tomorrow im about to buy some plants and do some planting soon after my cycle. so some info would be great

if youre going low tech regular sand should be fine. just keep up on the root tabs for your root feeders

root tabs... are like nutrition tablets? correct? and yo ujsut plant one at the bottom of the stem? if so how often...

yeah, they go every few inches, or where ever you have plants. not sure how long they last, never used them. maybe somebody can chime in...
