substrate?

black gravel is great, but i think you could get bored of the tank being so dark. id do white sand, and then some darker rounded river pebbles/rocks on the top. then again, bare would be very easy for a tank that big. lots of driftwood is a good thing. if you had a substrate, id only do a fine layer.
 
My girlfriend and I switched 2 of our tanks from river rock gravel to sand yesterday. What a job! One of the tanks had some rather large rocks in there as well. Even though it was vacuumed weekly, it was amazing how much crap was trapped under the rocks. We used pool filter sand as a replacement. The sand was very clean right out of the bag, looks good, and I'm sure it will be easier to keep clean. I can just vac the crud off the top. Something to think about.
 
I was thinking doing some light brown sand just a thin layer with driftwood. But i'm not sure.
