im gonna be trying substrate for the first time when i get the new tank set up. i guess we will see
change of environment will make a DAT very curious and start to investigate and make them stable. once it gets use to it, could either stay the way it is or go back to their old self.
Its kinda like putting in a new fish in a tank full of dats? they come out and start sizing it up and usually turn from black to golden/yellow or vice versa. love them especially when they start to tilt like a puppy tilting its head with a curious looks.

word. i threw a GT in my dat tank and they all came out of hiding and surrounded it. lol. i felt bad for it, so i took the GT back out.
