Haha! you guys are great! I'm gonna show my mom these posts to let her know her efforts are appreciated.

I'm gonna go back to the house in about an hour and check on them they seemed fine when I left last night.

Is anyone interested in my female barred midas? She's free. I need to make room for the Motas and it will be hard to house them with the pair breeding.

I'll let you know. I have two compatible pairs right now. I want to get them on fish food first. I brought my last motas back august 20th and the large female just began eating last week! Live foods were getting pricey.

I would take pics but they're hiding. I threw guppies I had been quarantining in their tank and boy does the male hit them hard. I've never seen a cichlid take so many without a single miss. I had to hide off to the side. As soon as he saw me move he went behind a rock.
