Angels
Emerald cories
mollys, platies,swords,guppies... just about every livebearer 'cept endlers.
cherry barbs
Auratus ( nasty lil' africans but nifty parenting)
Brichardi

I'm sure there is more but most of them bred on accident and I managed to do what I could for the fry. generally had at least a few of everything survive some more then others. I've found most species.. you take care of them well, and give them 110% care and have at least 1 male and 1 female eventually they breed for you.

SW

percula Ocellaris
dragon pipes

never reared the percula fry. to much effort needed at the time and not much known on a hobby level. the pipes did pretty well and raised 3 juvies before the tank crashed and I lost everything. haven't touched SW since.

yeah i know exactly what you mean monster, my friend who i got into cichlids just started about 2 months ago...bought about 6 convicts...within the first 2 weeks 4 of em died...now the two remaining hes been babying REALLLY HARD...they mated, now he has 14

yeah my buddy just got lucky with the fry...did yours live to grow? what happened to them??

angelfish would be cool as well

rainbow cichlids archocenturs multispinosus - easy, relatively peaceful parents even when breeding

shell dweller multies neolamprologus multifasciatus - too easy, you read the articles and think, okay, it can't really be that easy, but it is. male + female + shell = babies

mosquito fish Gambusia affinis - easy, they're in my nano pond which receives minimal care and feeding since it's mainly self sufficient, and I continually find fry even during the cold stints.

guppies, mollys, albino bristle nose pleces, mosquito fish, bettas splendens, bettas mahachais, green terrors, convicts, angels, discus, red zebras, red devils, midas, jack dempsy, oscars, endlers, danios, and now im starting to play around with some flowerhorns, neon tetras, and some goldfish.
with the neons its said that the eggs are sensitive to light so i just want to try that out and with the goldfish i want to try crossing the oranda with the ryukin to try and get the hump of the ryukin and the wen of the oranda but i havent goten them to breed yet.
