i finally got my arow to eat food sticks. i randomly put one in and the arow took it

Mine sniffs them then turns away, it tried one and spat it out. I will not give in though, i put about four or five in the tank monrning and evening. If it hasn't eaten any after about 15 i take them out.
There is still the odd river shrimp i put in the tank so it's still hunting for them.
I confident hunger will win the day and it'll eat sticks.

congrats

Very nice, is this your old silver or the one you just got?

the old one finally its 8 inches long. feeding it feeders every week was not very cheap

congrats :D

Funny, overhere feeder would cost less than Hikari sticks ^^ In any case, mines took hikari from day one so there was no heartache trying to break them. I feed pellets sparingly (cost and water condition). Imo feeders are cleaner for water (yes, more risky for diseases and such)

^how many feeder fish would you give a juvi arow in a week?

congrats. i starved my jar for 3 days. now he eats food sticks everyday.
