Mine sniffs them then turns away, it tried one and spat it out. I will not give in though, i put about four or five in the tank monrning and evening. If it hasn't eaten any after about 15 i take them out.
There is still the odd river shrimp i put in the tank so it's still hunting for them.
I confident hunger will win the day and it'll eat sticks.
Funny, overhere feeder would cost less than Hikari sticks ^^ In any case, mines took hikari from day one so there was no heartache trying to break them. I feed pellets sparingly (cost and water condition). Imo feeders are cleaner for water (yes, more risky for diseases and such)
