I posted the other day wondering about making the switch from gravel to sand. I didn't think I would be able to do it till next weekend but I was just too anxious! so I did it today! Lol
I know that I have to get rid of some fish and also don't have much time till I have to get a bigger setup. Here are the before & after pictures anyway!

Sand FTW. You could always mix in a little bit of your old black gravel it makes for a pretty good look too.

very nice.. and glad it went well .

Lookin good and just like nater above mentioned mixing some gravel, i recommend that as well for a better look...

I was just tired of the black gravel. At first I thought it would bring my fish's color out more but, it only made it look more dull and less natural. I'm completely satisfied with the change and grateful to all those who helped me! (sounds like an Oscar speech! Lmao)
My only concern with mixing some gravel with sand is that it wouldn't look as "smooth". Anyhow, I'm happy!
