I am looking to house an Aro, through adulthood in a 75g. Are there any small species of Aros that would do well in a set up as this? From all that ive read, Blacks and Silvers get extremely large, however what about the asian species?

It would be a specimen tank ( a single Aro ), with some algae / bottom feeders.

I have read people all over these forums keeping 4-6 adult aros in a 180g...that is only 30-45g per fish ( assuming just the Aros are in the tank ).

Anyways, just curious if its feasible for the fish's health before i go through with it.

I think the smallest species of Aro's are the Jardinis, but they still grow over 2ft.

australians dont seem to get as big as silvers but would still be tight in the 75, but I'm sure there are some people that have a australian in a 75. How big do African Arowanas get?
