Such a thing as a small Aro?

The closest thing you could get too a small aro is an African butterfly fish
(Pantodon buchholzi)...they don't look much like aros but they are related...you can see it in the head region. They stay small...around 4"

That is one unique looking aro...

the smallest probably in the market is the jardini i think.

That is a bonytongue all right but the behaviour is way laid back then aros.
It will fit nicely with your tank , i agree.
 
A new tank would be nice, id agree with you all, however my bank account wouldnt :swear:

Thanks for the help, hopefully some day down the road i can accomodate one of these beauties.
 
it will take awhile to get them big... that's for asian and jardinnis... 75 will do fine up to 18 inches if your tank is 60 inches long. then by that time get a larger tank. :grinyes: you will definitely buy another tank i bet you.. in a year or two. no fish keepers can resist getting more tanks. :D

it takes less than a year to grow to a foot long..i said before..after that, then only silvers and blacks continue to grow fast..yea...u should get some ABF
 
So how big a tank would you need to house a jardini for life?
