Have to lug this tank into my basement and it easily weighs several hundred pounds. Soooo.......... I was going to pick up those Suction Cup glass movers from a hardware store or somewhere but I've looked online and it will say Weight Capacity is lets say 120 lbs. Now does this mean that it will ONLY hold 120 lbs regardless if I have 4 of them or does it mean 4 of them will hold 480 lbs for instance? Never used these before but I'm sure they will make my life a thousand times easier lugging this tank into my basement.

I would caution moving a large tank by lifting from the side glass. The stress to the end and side joints could be significant. The pneumatic glass suction handles are designed to move glass panes, not tanks.

I have seen professional movers move very large objects using arm straps. I have used them and they work great.

x2 on arm straps... my husband has used arm straps to move a variety of heavy furniture ect lately... just need the weather to co-operate to move the 120 (glass..) and in the future a 180.. you need 2 strong people.. but from what i've seen they work.
I use suction handels all the time...makes moving tanks a breeze acrylic or glass....i originally got them years ago for a glass 220...hanous to move took 4-6 people. Neway search on amazon for one handle with 4 cups. There rated for just under 400lbs a piece and get 4. So thats a total 16 cups for four handels. Ive never had a failure and moved 300's,230's,450's acrylic and the glass 220. People contact me all the time just to borrow them for a move.

On amazon search "quad suction cup handle" these are the exact ones i have and there a great price. Had em for 6 years now

The movers I hired to move my 225 (1cm thick glass) just used furniture straps and they were fine. I wouldn't trust suction
