Suction cups for moving tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Without those...I would not have even been able to lift my glass 600 1" off of the ground.

They are life savers.

I wouldn't have bought them for just a 240 though.

2 people can lift a 240 pretty easy. Depends on what height the stand is though.

I used to work for a company where I delivered windows and sliding glass doors to homes and new construction. We used those for the really large glass doors. the ones that are like 10-12 feet tall and double or triple paned. They worked great and would have never been able to do it without them. Although the ones you show look better. Ours were just one larger suction cup per hand.

It took 4 of us to lift it up high enough to set it on the 43" built in stand! Those glasscages tanks are heavy suckers! You must eat more Wheaties than we do. :D

those sound like a good idea. not to derail the thread, but is everyone happy with their tanks from glass cages???

Love them. I have 4 of them. Great value!

I got the 240 long and love it. I did have to take a razor and clean it up a little, but for the price it was worth it. When I got mine they did tell me to waite at least a month before I fill it up to make sure all the seals are cured. I am thinking of ordering a bigger tank from them as well. Just need to convince my worse 1/2 :D
