well in all fairness he jumped out , one of my bichirs must have spooked him and the cat saw the chance for a fresh fish meal . more my fault i didnt think it was a jumper the lids werent weighted down

I would def not blame yourself. it was pure act of the fish gods. Yeah the tops suck on that tank, but just think that your arowanas never jumped or spooked out of those slits in the back of your 180. Knock on wood. It all comes down to timing man. And i bet you it was that brown cat of yours that one gives me the willies:ROFL:
 
Well probably the fish died long before the cat got him.. and you cannot blame a cat for eating fish.. sorry for your loss of a beautiful fish..

(Albys Wife) Some women may take it hard but s**t happens. You gotta roll with the tide. When you keep fish you know things happen regardless of whether its what you want to happen or not. On the lighter side of things all the other fish are doing great and we will hope for no more mishaps. :)
