Yea, but if it's working then why are you going to send it into Microsoft? We never had any problems or had to send it in for anything. So if the main issue is overheating why not just put the fan on and save yourself the trouble of fixing it. Have you had other problems too?
Over heating is the MAIN issue with X boxes dying but its not the ONLY issue, that microsoft may be able to fix unless you've tampered with it!Lissaspence;4055910; said:
screw sending it to microsoft they only do a temp. fix, fix the thing your self and it wont happen again. Mine just recently got the red ring of death.... debating on the bf taking it apart (make sure of course no screws are lost and we dont do anything that will disconnect xbox live) and just fix it ourselves or paying someone to fix it...for good. The xbox is still good it's just having a stupid error saying its over heated and wants to die but it's really not! Stop trying to trick me and waste my money!! grrr. Just the other night we randomly turned it on and it actually worked that night.... next day... back to RRD then randomly...it worked again for a night.....and now RRD again.... its causing us emotional instability ahhhhhhhhhhh. -_- why does RRD play with my heart </3
Microsoft here, take your existing xbox, gut it, replace it, slap your skin back on it and then ship it back. No probs didnt even have to pay for postage!!!!
