sugestions for frozen food

i have my American dat 7 inch taking market shrimp and my 4 inch IT show no interest in it. They will only touch pymis shrimp that they feast on which is not a problem yet. However when they get larger the amount of pymis shrimp they will eat will be more so getting them to eat the market shrimp is a good thing.
what kind of frozen food do you feed, i know i could feed live but i want to stay away from that.

Has anyone had any luck with scallops or crab meat, something like that i think may be to there liking.

you should just feed the the market shrimp ..it fills mine up and the American can be an example to your it and sooner or later he should eat the market shrimp...i had the same problem as you..but mine eat market shrimp, silver side,and nightcrawlers...
 
I use MP (Market Prawn, market shrimp, frozen shrimp). The other dat will learn from the other on how to eat. Some are more stubborn than others so it might take some time and will on your part. Better to get them eating other foods when they are young as it seems harder to change them the older they get. ;)
 
Mine love frozen whole krill.
 
it does take a while. introduce new food mixed in with their favorite food and slowly reduce the old food.

it took a while but I finally got my dats off of feeders and live CBWs. now i feed them market shrimp, home made beefheart, Freeze Dried Krill and frozen silversides.
 
have u guys ever herd of feeding scallops to dats. im not much of a sea food eater so dont no much about it just could be another potential meaty food for them.
