Suggest me a Barb

Hampala barbs would be awesome. I would just be worried that my rays wouldn't get any food since I have heard they are very agressive at feeding time.

The flagtail would be really cool but I would be worried about them eating the slime coat of the rays.

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions.

Hi Unknown , i'd tend to agree with Twelve volt man ,Lemon fin barbs are stunning fish , these used to be nigh on impossible to find , but seem a little more easy to find now !
there are about a dozen different lemon fin barbs ! the more often seen being H.Wetmorei !

those are both too aggressive, hampala, and lemon barb, would eat too much.

try catlocarpio siamensis, slow growing, very gentle giants, and rare.
probarbus julienni, but they're protected and good luck getting one, they're super rare and very peaceful, colorful too!

most other barbs are too aggressive.

many barbs are very aggressive feeders.
what kind of payara is it?
if its an armatus then good luck to the barbs.

Would one hampala barb go good with a group of tinfoils, silver dollars, balas? How would one flagtail charicin go with the group of barbs and silver dollars?
