try some Synodontis Eupertus or LAce Catfish. gets about 10in but a beautiful fish indeed. i have 2 in my 90gallon and they're doing fine.

There are plenty of options. Abbott, what else do you plan to put in that tank aside from those guppies? I seem to remember you asked in AC about endlers. Do you plan to put some there? Simply put, you'll have to lean on kuhli loaches, corydoras, hara haras and small species of plecos as tankmates.

I would say CLs or Botias. Corys and Synos. like being in groups.

I already have a tank full of the little beauties :)

Currently the only sp. in the tank are guppies, expendable guppies.

I'd love more Clowns, but I'm too scared they'll jump out of this tank and it isn't really feasible to put a lid on it.

If you have an odd sized tank, you can sometimes find double-glazed polycarbonate panels at hardware stores, or order some off the internet. It can be cut to nearly any size or shape with a skill-saw or jigsaw, is very strong and will support lights if the span is not too big. You can make very tight fitting covers by notching around tubing, electric lines, filters, etc. Even Ropefish can't get out! Best of all it's nearly indestructable, jumping fish just bounce off!
