Something to think about when you mention Haitiensis(Black Nasty), is that while dominant males are extremely aggressive, long time owners tend to agree that if the Black Nasty can't dominate, then they tend to stress, get bloat and die. Haitiensis do well mostly in species only tanks. I'd hate to see a beast Black Nasty bloat and die because somebody puts him in a tank with a monster Trimac or Dovii.

This. Mine is a big mean bastard. But I wouldn't dare put him in with anything else for fear of him stressing/bloating/dieing.

Although, anyone that has a fish this expensive (we're talking $400 for a nice adult male), would know this.

I liked the comment someone posted on here about keeping a Hait in a community tank. They said something along the lines of "You'll end up with no fish. The Hait will kill everything. Then the Hait will bloat and die from the stress."

Tilapia Buttikoferi. It's an African cichlid. It should be ok if paired with a jaguar, a dovii, a flowerhorn, red devil, jack dempsey, 2-3 plecos etc
400 gallon sounds so symphonic. If I could envy anyone, it'd be you
