I am done growing out fish. I want instant gratification and I will be getting them big if not huge.

I am planning to keep the following fish in my 180 gallon:

18" endli
15" arowana
14" widebar datnoid
8" NTT for growing out
8" IT for sentimental value (original fish from my first tank)
6" tigrinus (growing it out in a 40 gallon)

As you noticed, I already have a top level, mid-level, and bottom level fish. What other fish can you suggest I get? I think in the end, I might end up having 4 or 5 fish and I want them to be all big. Meaning at least 12" or preferably bigger.

No illegal or too expensive fish. I just can't think of anything. I tried the pbass but not really into it either. I guess I like stripped and fish with big scales.

Salamat po!

IMO you are allready over stocked with what you have.

A standard 180g is 6ft by 2ft.

And that aro and the tig will need something bigger as is.

If you do not plan on going larger than the 180. Then I would delete the aro and the tig and do more poly's and dats.

I agree

I think the aro is stunted and I like it like that. Tigrinus is not growing really fast. I would say it would take about a year for it to reach 16"

If it is already over stocked, I guess it will be a jdm tank in the future. Nonetheless, I will get more fish for it. You guys should see the tanks here in my location...

Any fish suggestions and not a suggestion not to get more fish or to cut back.

lol :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL: can i use that as a quote in my sig?

Sure thing!

Noah, don't add anymore fish. You're collection is already really nice as is. If you want more fish you can add another big endli.

I still think my tank is getting boring though and thinking that another big fish will do it for me.

Looks about full to me. If anything, get something slow-growing.

Definitely a slow growing fish. What the heck, I was growing datnoids for 2.5 years...

I mean with a stunted aro there's not much growing that's gonna happen in the 180 considering that the other fish that I'm planning to keep in it are the NTT and IT. I am still growing out the tigrinus in a 40 gallon tank and will probably move it to the 180 when its about 12" or bigger.

Also, everyone on MFK upgrades one way or another.
