How bout money for a online shop or one of the sites sponserers??
then we can get what ever we want... i have seen this happen on a few other forums and they do great business as it encourages people to buy products from them(the sponserer)

I think a nice large acrylic tank would be awesome. or a crazy filter/flow system capable of handling up to 1000 gallons would be nice. Fish are cool too but Im not a fan of having fish shipped around, Id rather get a nice innanimate object than a fish because the fish could die within a week and then nothing has been won...
 
I think if we were to do a big tank han how about a gift certificate. Maybe do one for the winner at his choice to use at his favorite shop this way you could avoid the shiooyng cost and you could still include states and or countries that would to far away.
 
... We cant do a tank shipping for a tank would be way to much.. Why not a subscription to one of the magazines and a bunch of mfk stuff.
 
I think the backgrounds were a great idea... I would love to just get some stickers. I have asked a few times and nothing... It would be cool to do money or something to spend at sponsor sites...
 
Money or gift certificates would be nice. ;)

Although, for some people like me, if you win, you dont have the tank space.

i think money is a great idea because then we can buy what we want where we want. Gift certificate is a good idea for a LFS of our choice. A tank would not be the suitable prize because so many people live overseas and it would cost heaps in shipping. and some people have enough tanks as it is...For instance, i live in Australia and other people live in England...etc.

A raffle?
But someday be so kind as to let me know what you are all talking about? I hear all this talk about a raffle, do we really have raffle's here or is this just a joke? I am new here so forgive my ignorance, please. If they are real, can someone please explain to me how it works, do we buy raffle tickets or are they giving to us, just for being a member of this community? Real curios and would love to participate. PS a 300 gallon tank would be nice, but a gift certificate where I can purchase a 300 gallon tank would be even nicer. LOL
