Just wondering what are your recommendations for a pleco that cleans my glass and rocks of brown algae....

I currently have a 4" Royal that just likes to chew on the driftwood and zuccinni.
Tank size is 135g.

Thanks!

Cool! is there a difference between Bushynose and Bristlenose?

Also, do bushynose or bristlenose plecos attach to bottom dwelling fishes, ie rays?

I have one of these, He's about 5". Does a great job all over the tank. Only thing is I had no idea what type he was, or How big he gets. Also, He has a split in his Tail Fin, and a Split in his back fin. Hopefully they heal.

+1 for the bristlenose, but another good pleco in my experience is a rubber nose

Yeah, I got mixed answers when I tried to figure out what he was, I was told Leopard, Marble, High Fin, Sail Fin. Only thing I get regularly from people is that they can grow 12"+ over 5-10 years. But haven't gotten any reliable confirmation on it.

He was part of a Rescue tank that I picked up, they had him, a Glow Fish, 3 Neon Tetras and some weird eel looking thing that became Oscar food really fast. The Tetras and Glow Fish were put in with my Marmokrebs. But have since been re-homed to my Niece Community Tank.

Thats a leopard Sailfin, and it gets up to 20", I've heard they stop eating algae after they reach a certain size
