Suggestion on peaceful, colorful, mid to large size fish?

I am looking for some mid to large size fish (4 inch min) that have bright and colorful skin and peaceful to add into my tank. Schooling fishes are good. And Won't outgrow a 125 gal tank. I need some tank mates for my silver arowanas.

Your silvers will outgrow the 125g, but anyway, I'd vote for a group of larger Geophagus species, G. altifrons probably. 10-12", fairly peaceful towards other fish, nice and colourful, similar water requirements as the aro.

South America is a pretty large place, and the cichlids range from
3cm to 3' in length. Some of them are bound to be aggressive.


Severums would work well with your aro though.

Definately Severums. I have 3 pairs with my Jardini, although im selling them right now if you happen to be in MD.
