OK here is the deal, I'm basically getting a free 55 with all the goods. I have never breed fish before but I want to give it a try with this extra tank I fell into. :) So I am open for suggestions. I DO NOT want Convicts. lol Way way way to common and too cheap. Not worth my time and effort. I though about EBJD but I've not kept them before and have only heard horror stories. Anyway, let the ideas begin!

jewls, severums, angels, red tipped cons!(look amazing! forget what else was in the name they are blue and look sweet!) fire mouths, all these are relatively easy fish to breed! hardest may be angels! but cant be too hard because i did it accidently one ime! now do it purposely!:D

Thanks for all the suggestions. Like I said I have zero experience at breeding. Local water is pretty hard out of the tap. 8.0+ No other issues as far as water quality goes.

breed something small. 55g aint so big. And where you gonna grow the frys after that?

firemouths, jewels, kribs, texas , are all pretty easy to breed IMO, and a pair should do well in a 55

Well I have an empty 29 that I could move some fry into. I would really like to try a pair of JD or texas. Wouldn't Texas get a little big for a 55 though?
