Suggestions for a cool top-swimming fish for my 150 gallon

They aren't super expensive.
LFS near me has a 10'' for $20, maybe less I haven't been there in a while.

Thanks, now the only hard part is finding one at a lfs near me. Do you know of any place that I can buy one online?

Still looking for suggestions for other fish.

Re: the chal I agree they aren't all that expensive but are hard to find. If you decide to get more than one you'll want a large group as I've been told that 2 or 3 will fight amongst themselves; a half-dozen or so would spread the aggression out. What are your other planned stock? Hard to suggest fish without knowing what their tankmates will be.
 
Maybe a fresh water barracuda? Here is a pic of my old 8-9" Yellow Tail:

yes.an aro or a gar,both very beautiful fish,and will stay mostly on the top.

If I remember correctly, chals get about 12"
(Someone please correct me if I'm wrong)
