Our pacu do not need anything cut up for them.....they have more fun, and we are entertained... Here's an old video clip of them:

not a good idea... just feed more veggies, they are looking good....matthewkingoftheworld;4192601; said:hmmm ok. inhaling makes kinda sense. i feed mine prawn and muscle and they just vanish without any effort and they never seem satisfied. i was gonna ask a question about feeding my fish other fish and maybe other animals. ie chicken? in the wild i would imagine the fish would eat pretty much anything.
Pacus are vegetarians, they feel good and look good and feel full And grow just as big on veggies because their bodies need them.. thats their makeup... of course any diet change should be done gradual.. because their taste and digestive system has to get use to change..matthewkingoftheworld;4192632; said:i dont mean to queation but you are sure that they are gonna feel full on veg???
i looked this up... you can still feed protein.. just up the veggies and fruits and lower the amount of protein... here is some interesting info about pacumatthewkingoftheworld;4192725; said:amazing help as always. muchos gracias. i'll have to re-train my thinking of how to feed my fish
