Suggestions for buying poly filter floss or a substitute?

Less expensive alternatives for poly filter floss? I was considering buying 3 bags of the largest size.

AQUA PURE's FILTER FIBER:
Excellent for box filters and corner filters.
FOR PHOTO:
FILTER FIBER 4 oz. BAG $2.05 EACH
FILTER FIBER 8 oz. BAG $2.95 EACH

NOTHING comes close to polyfiler i have tyred most

i run 4 x sheets of the standard size in my internals which i change every month

buy it online i buy 50 sheets at a time £300 job done it last about 10 months

works out at £24 per month expensive maybe but you have to pay for the best

others may say you don't need it but its as good as having a FW protein skimmer

as long as they make it i will buy it

so far others have recommended buying the fillers/stuffers for quilts at walmart. will check this idea out.

^^ I understand exactly your misunderstanding. Unfortunately a lot of people consider filter floss, polyfil fiber, filter wadding, etc to be the same as Polyfilter, which is a different product. That's why it is sometimes difficult to answer a question on forums.

$2.67 ! picked up 3bags 20zoz each. now I can go hog crazy when I clean change my filters!
