Suggestions for feed my royal pleco?

Cucumber is a worthless food to give to your pleco... It has no nutritonal valuewhat ive done os use zucchini cut a slice off the end stick it on the end of a butter knife and drop it in.... Mine took to it right away, of it takes a lil longer like whats been said put a wafer in it or somethin so the smell atracts him. But i dont blanch them just dont leave it in ur water that long.... No more the 24 hours or it will start messing with your water chemistry

I thread pieces of cucumber on to spoons etc to weigh them down and my plecs love them

AHikari agae waters and NLS are standard foods for my royals, and other plecs fed after lights out so they've got time to graze under the cover of darkness. Also give them raw zucchini once a week, always the night before water change day as four royals make a hell of a mess chewing up a couple of big zucchini!!

I feed a mixture of spirulina wafers and potato. I used to feed other vegetables but in the end, stuck to these 2 because they both sink. Leftover potato is easy to remove because they float.

Sorry, I am obviously the lazy type of fishkeeper..... ;/
