Suggestions for Mechanical filtration

I have the FX5. I love the amount of water it moves, but really hate the fact that shortly after every cleaning, it starts pushing fine bubbles out. I am pretty sure I know the cause of it, but dont think it can be fixed.

I have cleaned mine and had it appart maybe four times and have no bubble issue??

For the first few times I never had a problem with it either, which I thought it only happened when the media got really clogged, but now is a different story.
