Just picked up another tank and the dimensions are seriously weird.
Tank size is 7’3.5”L x 21” W x 17” T coming out to around 130 gallons with my quick mental math.
Filtration will be two fx4s I’ve yet to use and pothos.
I was going to use it as another growout but I already have my 150g and 75g for that and neither are even full.
Another idea was a Datnoid biotope for longer term growouts. Perhaps 8-10 3-5” babies until they all hit 9-10”. Selling off my lesser favorites as they grew until about 4 were left.
Finally I was considering a school of 5x Odoe Pikes until they were around 13” but in my opinion that’s not enough room to turn for them so I scrapped this idea.
What would you guys use it for? The fish in it don’t need to be able to live life completely in the tank but I’d like to at least have fish that could spend 2 yrs Comfortably in there before being upgraded.
No African Cichlids or Salt Water ideas please.
