Never kept dats but from what i understand 150 would be too small long term

NTT would probably be ok in a 150. AT would be an even better option. The others definitely get too big

Meh...not for one.They can grow to over two feet in length but they grow very slowly even under the best conditions.I can't remember the last time I have seen a twelve inch NTT.

Yeah,if he goes after a small or even medium sized NTT he's got a lot of time to grow it.

In the future consider one they are great fish imo.
