I'm thinking of find my goldfish new home when it's closer to summer. I'm hoping I can find someone who ahs a pind to take them. It is hard to keep the tank with my goldfish clean compared to my freshwater comunity tank. If I do ended up finding them a new home what kind of fish would you reccomend getting? I have a 30 gallon tank and want to get some different kinds of fish. In my comunity tank I have mollies and a swordtail. Any suggestions for other kinds of fish?

Some Kribinsis if you want nice breeding cichlid.

If you want oddballs maybe a dragon goby, or you could get some fw puffers green spotted puffer fish or something.

maybe you could try planting it?

you could get some powder blue gourami's, dwarf gourami's or pearl gourami's, all of which look pretty sweet and are good community fish.

get cory's and yoyo's or other loaches, they rock.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't know if I want to breed cichlids or not. But I'll keep some cichlids in mind. I've never heard of a dragon goby. How big do they get? I've tried to have live plants before and haven't had much luck.
I'm not a big fan of tiger barbs but I do like the redtail shark.

A pair of German blue rams, 6-8 Cories, around 10-12 Neon Tetras.

-OR-

A pair of Crenicichla Regani.

Blame the 2nd idea on Peanut, as he got me started on Pikes.

I've heard that Blue Rams are sometimes hard to care for. They are beautiful though. I wouldn't mind getting a pair. Is it really hard to care for them?
I'd definately would want to get some cories depending on what kind of fish i get. I don't know about the neon tetras though. Their not one of my favorite fish.

Angle fish and tetras....? I dunno how big Angel fish get though...

Peckoltia Vermiculata aka L02,a bit pricey but nicely colored. Some driftwood, malaysian preferred. Plants to buy are the ones called, Water Wisteria (Hygrophila Diformis), and Ludwigia Repens (Red Leaf), moderate lights, however, I float mine and not planted into the gravel or substrate. A couple more fish to keep things more interesting, are a pair of Bala Sharks. If you need to add new fish, make sure you mention the type of fish you are currently keeping. :)
