suggestions on 240 stocking

corals look fun, i just don't think im up for that challenge, fish keeping isn't new to me, only salt. corals just.... eh, not for me. and canuck, i was looking on ebay, found the nanos for 28 shipped, i think theyre rated at 240 gph? so do you suggest i put some in now or wait to put livestock in and then play it by ear.

btw your going to need two 600gph at least.

I have 2 3264gph ones.

Yeah I'm thinking that with a tank that size you don't want to go with any equipment labeled as "nano".

my pump is 3200 and 2400 at head height

i have 9,000gph going in my tank. That means the bottom stays clean

Flow and rock is up to you and how it looks in your tank. I don't believe in live rock as a filter unit. Even though it is, my tank can handle the bio load without it, its just cosmetic.

Triggers with corals? Morays and corals? Suggesting corals to a new person? In a 200 gallon plus?

You don't own a saltwater tank do you?

not no saltwater expert, but i've had FOWLR tanks and was able to have clowns and anens in the tank with my triggers. basically picking out livestock for salt can be fun. especially with the guy starting out with a bigger tank, which leaves more room for error..just like fresh there's no certain formula where this is only going to work here or this is only going to work there, so the guy has many options that i was just pointing out he can do...for instance my suggestion with lions/triggers/tangs/ and japan/hawaiian dragon is just what i would do...
